IETab: Mozilla Firefox extension
I’d been using IE View for the cases where I run across IE-only pages in my surfing. btw - this ONLY happens on our intranet here. No other place on the web.
At any rate, I found this new extension IETab which loads IE into a tab in your browser. ROCK.
Previously, I had to change context if I wanted to open up our Intranet. Why? Usually I just type in the URL for it in Firefox, and then realize later that I need to do some function that Firefox doesn’t support. With IETab, you can setup a list of sites that always open in an “IETab” within your Firefox browser. This is brilliant. It means regardless of how I want to look at the site, there is no context switching. It’s like VMWare for your browser.
